AT-RISK-OF-POVERTY OR SOCIAL EXCLUSION STATUS

The at-risk-of poverty and social exclusion status indicates whether a household is or not at-risk-of-poverty or social exclusion. These are households who are at-risk-of-poverty or severely materially and socially deprived or with very low work intensity.

YEAR

The results of SILC are based on a survey conducted in the beginning of the year and on register and administrative data mostly referring to one year before survey is conducted.

RECEIVING PROFESSIONAL HOME CARE

The share of households is shown by whether they receive professional home care, among households in which at least one person needs help at home. Professional home care includes health and/or social care provided by professionally trained individuals who are paid for their services, such as healthcare professionals (e.g. community nurses), care workers, personal assistants or caregivers of a family member.
