The results of SILC are based on a survey conducted in the beginning of the year and on register and administrative data mostly referring to one year before survey is conducted.

AT-RISK-OF-POVERTY OR SOCIAL EXCLUSION STATUS

The at-risk-of poverty and social exclusion status indicates whether a household is or not at-risk-of-poverty or social exclusion. These are households who are at-risk-of-poverty or severely materially and socially deprived or with very low work intensity.

Individual heating system

This category includes centralized floor heating (e.g., when each unit in an apartment building has its own gas furnace), thermal storage heaters, fixed electric radiators, infrared panels, air conditioning units, traditional farmhouse stoves, stoves, and fireplaces.

Non-fixed heating

In this category, electric radiators, electric space heaters, and other devices that can potentially be moved from room to room are included.
