Bad dwelling conditions

The share of households with problems such as a leaking roof, damp walls/floors/foundation, or rot in window frames or the floor. Until 2008, we were collecting data on bad dwelling condition with only one question. From 2008 on, we have been collecting these data with three separate questions, so results until 2008 are not fully comparable with the years after.

Not adequately warm dwelling

The share of households who can not afford to keep their homes adequately warm.

Too dark dwelling

The share of households considering their dwelling as too dark, not having enough day-light.

Problems with noise

The share of households with problems with noise from their neighbours or from the street (traffic, industry, firms).
Until 2020, these data are available annually, and after that every three years (2023, 2026, etc.).

Environmental problems

The share of households with problems such as: pollution, grime or other environmental problems caused by traffic or industry.
Until 2020, these data are available annually, and after that every three years (2023, 2026, etc.).

Crime in the area

The share of households with problems with crime violence or vandalism in the area.
Until 2020, these data are available annually, and after that every three years (2023, 2026, etc.).
