- Methodological explanations RELATIVE MEDIAN INCOME RATIO is the ratio of the median equivalised disposable income of persons aged above the specified age limit [e.g. age over 65] to the median equivalised disposable income of persons in complementary age groups [e.g. age under 65] or age group from 45 to 54 years.
