Notes

JOB VACANCIES:
Job vacancy data were overtaken from the Employment Service of Slovenia [ESS]. Because of the entry into force amendments to the Labour Market Regulation Act [OJ No. 21/2013]
wich in Article 7 eliminates the mandatory notification of a vacancy at the ESS, Slovenia has no longer complete coverage of all vacancies. This obligation remains only for
public sector and for business entities owned by the state. Starting with second quarter 2013 data are forecasting with Demetra+ software, i.e. the TRAMO/SEATS method.
SURS is still looking for alternative methods for estimating the number of vacancies, so the data are from the second quarter 2013 provisional.
OCCUPIED POSTS:
- Since 1 January 2008 were excluded the persons on maternity leave who are otherwise employed [on average around 16,000 persons].
- Since 1 September 2009 were included posts occupied by persons sent to work or to education abroad.
- Since 1 January 2013 were excluded the persons who are on long-term sick leave more than 30 working days. Such sick leaves are no longer covered by the employer
but by The Health Insurance Institute [on average around 15,000 persons].

MEASURES

Size is defined by number of occupied posts:
- TOTAL part of a business entity or a business entity without a subordinate unit that has at least one persons employed are included;
- 10+ all parts of a business entity or a business entity without a subordinate unit that has at least 10 persons employed are included.

TYPE OF DATA

Seasonally adjusted data

Seasonally adjusted data are original data from which the seasonal and calendar effects are eliminated.
