WordPress Origin Story

My WordPress journey began over 7 years ago — not with a grand plan, but with curiosity. I still remember the first time I installed WordPress on a local server and realized how a simple open-source platform could empower anyone to build something meaningful on the web. That moment changed the direction of my career.

What started as small experiments with themes and plugins quickly grew into a full-time passion. I found myself diving deeper into custom theme development, performance optimization, plugin architecture, and eventually full-scale WordPress solutions for businesses across different industries.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with global clients, agencies, and founders as part of cmsMinds, and now with my own team of engineers in India. Every project taught me something new — not just about code, but about problem-solving, collaboration, and the responsibility that comes with building for millions of users on the open web.

What keeps me here is not just the technology.
It’s the community — the meetups, the WordCamps, the open-source contributors, and the people who have been building this ecosystem together for more than a decade. Being part of national and international WordCamps has shaped how I look at open-source work: it’s not just about what you build, but what you give back.

Today, I’m actively involved in the community, continuously learning, contributing, and helping others solve challenges through WordPress. Whether it’s building custom themes, creating performant websites, guiding businesses on scalable architecture, or simply sharing knowledge — WordPress remains at the center of my professional and creative life.

I believe in the power of open source.
I believe in WordPress.

And I’m excited to continue contributing to a platform that has given me so much over the years.
