Mobile Mammogram
(April 2 – 9)

Schedule your appointment now for the mammogram bus coming to a worksite near you! Early detection saves lives; get scanned now. The AdventHealth mammogram bus is open to all Pinellas County Government employees with insurance, regardless of whether they are on the County’s plan or not, as well as covered spouses/domestic partners.
Earn $50/12,500 points in wellness rewards for getting a mammogram.

Onsite Biometric Screening

Employees on the County’s medical plan who would like to qualify for the preferred premium have the option to complete an onsite biometric screening at a convenient worksite event. Quest providers will draw blood and take body measurements (blood pressure, height, weight, and waist circumference). This is the same screening you get at a Direct-to-Quest Diagnostics® Patient Service Center.

- Self-defense might seem difficult to learn online; however, these techniques are simple, effective, and easy to remember—even under stress.
- Learn how to recognize danger before it becomes physical and how to act fast and effectively if it does.
- Spot pre-attack cues, create safe distance, establish a strong defensive frame, respond to common attacks like grabs, chokes and strikes.
- Receive a video and picture packet after class to continue to practice with your family at home.
- Attendance at both sessions is encouraged as the principles and strategies build on each other but it’s not required. The sessions will be recorded.

Understanding Child Support & Co-Parenting Financial Strategies

Register now for an onsite workshop dedicated to child support and designed for single, unmarried, separated, and divorced co-parents, as well as caregivers and grandparents, who want to better understand how child support really works in Florida.
- Our Children Have Rights protects the rights of children to have access to parents by providing education and support services for successful co-parenting strategies.
- Learn how child support is calculated, including Florida’s formula, and the steps involved.
- Understand the role of the Florida Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program, what services they provide, and how to prepare before reaching out or visiting an office.
- Learn the difference between child support and co-parenting expenses, how these expenses can be included in a parenting plan and explore methods to divide costs—complete with pros, cons, and helpful tools and resources.
