[[ https://github.com/nodeca/pako/ | Pako ]] appears to be about 50-60% faster than [[ https://github.com/Jacob-Christian-Munch-Andersen/Easy-Deflate | EasyDeflate ]], and is the recommended replacement library for EasyDeflate which is deprecated. The library itself is ~8,800 bytes after min and gzip, which is almost identical to the current lib. Performance: {F30875732} https://jsperf.com/js-deflate/3 Update: We also need to pick a compression leve. EasyDeflate defaulted to 9, which was probably a bit high. Pako defaults to 6. Tests at levels 1, 5 & 9: https://jsperf.com/js-deflate/4
