This is the sprint project for the Search Platform team in Technology. Since the team does not use fixed-length iterations, this sprint will act as an ongoing (Kanban-style) workflow board.
Our workboard process columns (e.g. "Needs Reporting" and "Epics") are explained on mediawiki.org
New tasks should be brought to us via Discovery-Search instead, from where they will be triaged.

As a positive update, I have retried today a federated query (https://w.wiki/Efw6) and it worked perfectly; a similar one (https://w.wiki/Eg6V) results in "Unknown error: POST with unexpected action parameter value: null" but it seems to be an issue on BNCF side, not on WDQS side.
Playing with this, I noticed I have to do inproject:"United States" for that project to handle the space, and if I want to do a subproject of it, I have to do something like this: inproject:"United States/WikiProject Louisville"

Well the reason for why I reopened this issue is that it seems to be the same problem (again or still). It's not about MediaSearch, it also doesn't work (anymore iirc) with SpecialSearch. However, now results are showing again so it seems like it was a temporary problem that's fixed now.
Please in general file new tickets for new problems instead of reopening old ones. See previous comment:

I've opened T391876 to track the problem of Special:MediaSearch
Indeed something wrong is happening there. Checking the query generated by the provided link it is limiting to only Manufacturing by product and does not include the rest of the deepcategory filter. This looks to perhaps be a wider issue with MediaSearch, best to open a dedicated ticket about deepcat+mediasearch compatability.
