Thank you :) This is the solution of my problem. I have just tested the usage of VisualEditor as logged-in user, so I did not think about this option. Could you maybe include a hint about this in the documentation for wikis where anonymous edits are normally disable?

@polybuildr Do you have a idea how to use the information what kind of wiki a site is to find the spam. I think the most spammer use similar spam page on every wiki because they normally do not think about the wiki propose.

I like the IRC-meeting idea to talk about the issue. What about creating a Doodle to find a date for it?

I am very interested. The event sounds to be very useful and nice. Especially the possibility to meet other open source projects is a powerful argument for this :-)
