I very much would like this feature, its one of my biggest pet peeves. I know that the reply tool took inspiration (or maybe even code) from Enterprisey's classic ReplyLink script (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Enterprisey/reply-link). I know that his script had the outdent feature as part of it. Now, I admit to not being very good at code, but might his script be a good place to start for scavenging code? Would probably way simplify solving this task.

As an oversighter, this is super annoying and I would love for a more clear visual difference between suppressed and revdelled links.
