This task involves the work of identifying the Wikipedias that will participate in the A/B experiment of Paste Check.
There are two parts to this task:
- Identifying the wikis we will approach about participating in the controlled experiment of Paste Check
- Finalizing the set of wikis that consent to participate in the experiment
Selection requirements
- Wikis that receive a sizable inflow of newcomers and population of Junior Contributors (≤100 cumulative edits)
- We're specifically seeking wikis to be present in the test that see newcomers editing from within Sub-Saharan Africa
- Wikis whose linguistic and technical configurations represent the complexity we can expect in the Movement. This way, we can ensure Paste Check is "robust" enough to work well for all Wikipedias.

- Latin
- Language orientations:
- Wikis from whom volunteer(s) have expressed a specific interest in Paste Check being made available
- NOT actively participating in another Edit Check-related experiment (e.g. T400101, T387918)
- Enough qualifying edit sessions for test to reach statistical significance within 6 weeks. See: T403861.
