Background
- Description:
We plan to add descriptive icons for Recent Changes coming form Wikidata and displayed on Wikipedia Recent Changes. With the icons it will be easier for the user to understand the meaning of the change log. However, there is currently no visual indicator about the action. Action could be update, remove, merge or add. This proposal is to add a update icon to Codex and OOUI.
- History:
There is a ticket about how this idea is evolved. https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T397256
- Known use case(s):
Wikidata's data can be used in Wikipedia articles. When this is the case, if the data in Wikidata is updated, user can see about this change log on Wikipedia Watchlist and Recent Changes. This button will be used change logs related to update changes. It will be visible on change logs auto summary part.
For the timeline, we already have an open ticket programming waiting for this update to be ready. So, sooner would be appreciated.

User stories
