Patti LaBelle

Patti LaBelle (née Patricia Holte) is an American singer and actress. She began her career as a member of LaBelle, formerly known as Patti LaBelle and The Bluebelles. The group was best known for the 1974 hit "Lady Marmalade." LaBelle launched her solo career with her self-titled debut studio album in 1977. She went on to release the hits "New Attitude," "Stir it Up," "Oh, People" and the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping "On My Own." LaBelle also has appeared in movies and TV shows, including A Soldier's Story (1984), A Different World (1990-1993), Out All Night (1992-1993), American Horror Story (2014) and Star (2018-2019).
