Ariana Biermann Announces Split from Hudson McLeroy: 'It's What's Best for Us'

Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy have split.

The high school sweethearts have broken up after nearly a decade together, Biermann, 23, announced on Tuesday, Oct. 14. She took to her Instagram Stories to share the news with a short message, which McLeroy reposted.

“Hudson and i have decided to go our separate ways,” the reality star wrote. “while these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years.”

“Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s okay <3 love you all,” she concluded.

The pair first made their relationship public in 2018 when they attended their high school homecoming together, although Biermann revealed in Next Gen NYC that their on-again, off-again relationship started before that. According to Bravo TV, they had a brief breakup before getting back together in 2022.

Over the years, the former couple gushed over one another, with Biermann calling McLeroy her “soulmate” in an October 2023 Instagram post.

"There are no words to explain how thankful i am for you," she wrote. "I have never enjoyed every second w someone like i do w you. you truly are my absolute best friend. the love we have is so pure."

A year prior, McLeroy shared 21 reasons he loved Biermann in a sweet Instagram post, including the "way [she finds] joy in the little things" and how she makes him "happier than [he's] ever been."

In July 2024, Biermann shared that she and Hudson moved to New York together. The following month, they were both arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, and Biermann pled guilty to reckless driving and possession and use of drug-related objects in 2025, per records obtained by PEOPLE. It's unclear what happened to Hudson's case.

Both were also main cast members for the debut season of Next Gen NYC, which premiered in June 2025, in which they appeared alongside other Bravo stars' children.

In April 2025, Biermann commented on McLeroy's Instagram promo for the show, writing, "i'm so happy we got to do this together, i love you 🩷."

Shortly after, he praised his now-ex in his own post: "I always knew we’d be here together. I used to dream of days like these when we first met. I love you @arianabiermann."
