Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of assistive technologies, and specifically to the field of devices that are designed to provide or improve the degree of functional independence in patients with motor limitations. The present invention teaches a patient movement and elevation device (1) that enables wearers with motor limitations to independently perform daily activities such as getting out of bed, getting into and out of motor cars, moving to an upright position and undertaking walking exercise with a dedicated passive cycle ergometer (2), joined together by a simplified connection system (S).
