Refere-se o presente relatório a um modelo de utilidade para uma disposição construtiva introduzida em esteira ergométrica e, mais especificamente, para uma esteira ergométrica de uso residencial. This report refers to a utility model for a constructive arrangement introduced on a treadmill and, more specifically, for a treadmill for residential use.
Como é sabido, as esteiras ergométricas foram criadas para proporcionar o treinamento físico através da simulação de caminhada e de corrida em um ambiente fechado. As is well known, treadmills are designed to provide physical training by simulating walking and running indoors.

Esses e outros objetivos e vantagens da presente inovação são alcançados com uma disposição construtiva introduzida em esteira ergométrica compreendida por um chassi estrutural, com contorno retangular, possuindo dois eixos transversais, próximos às extremidades, nos quais estão montados rolos, cilíndricos giratórios, entre os quais é montada a lona em forma de correia larga, sobre a qual o usuário irá caminhar ou correr; sendo que essa lona apresenta sua parte superior apoiada e deslizante sobre uma prancha, que ocupa o espaço entre os rolos extremos e as laterais internas do chassi, onde se apoia diretamente ou através de coxins; sendo que um dos rolos tem concentricamente uma polia acionada por um motor eletrico através de correia, o que proporciona o movimento da lona sobre a prancha. De acordo com a inovação, o chassi apresenta uma articulação em sua extremidade transversal onde se aloja o motor, na qual é montada uma placa de contorno similar ao desse chassi sendo que na extremidade oposta a essa articulação ou dobradiça, dita placa possui uma alça, sendo que toda a face superior e externa dessa placa é revestida por um estofamento, típico de poltrona ou de cama; sendo que na face interna dessa placa é provido um braço telescópico que interliga dita placa ao chassi, próximo da linha de articulação desses últimos, para auxiliar na abertura e fechamento angular dessas partes; sendo que a placa em sua face interna e próximo da extremidade que contém a alça, provê um alojamento recuado no qual é disposto de forma escamoteável um painel de comando e de monitoração da esteira; sendo que na condição inoperante a placa é abaixada até apoiar-se sobre o chassi, fechando a esteira para se transformar em uma poltrona ou cama. De acordo com essas ilustrações, a disposição construtiva introduzida em esteira ergométrica, objeto da presente inovação, é compreendida por um chassis estrutural 1 , com contorno retangular, possuindo dois eixos transversais 2, próximos às bordas transversais desse chassi 1 , nos quais estão montados rolos 3, cilíndricos e giratórios, entre os quais é montada uma lona 4 em forma de correia larga, sobre a qual o usuário irá caminhar ou correr, por ocasião do uso da esteira.
