Be it known that I, WILLIAM F, Meinem', e citizen of tbe United States, residin at Washington, in tbe District of olunibie, have invented new and useful improvements in Bottle-Stoppers, of which t'ne following isV a specification.

The present invention relates to disk stoppers for milk-bottles and like receptacles, and has for its object to provide e stopper which, while forming a perfect closure for the bottle orY jar, is of such construction that it may be quickly and reediljiY removed from the hottie without the use. of a tool or device for unseeting it and without danger of spilling i or splettering the contents of the bottle durin remove! of the stopper.

Having described my invention, I claim-- 1. A bottle-stopper comprisin a body portion, and a pull-tab projecting 'rom the circumferential edge theretf, sald tab having an aperture formed therein to receive the thumb or finger nail.

2.` A bottle-stop per comprising a body portion, and a projecting pull-tab formed integral with said body portion and having an aperture therein to receive the thumb or linger nail.

3. A bottlestopper comprisin a body por` tion, and a pull-tab projecting roln the circumferential edge thereof and having an aperture formed thereinl the inner margin ol" said tab-aperture coinciding with the circumferential ed e of said stopper.

4. A bott e-stopper comprising a boily pol'- tion and a substantially U-shaped tab projectinge,r from the circumferential edge thereof.

5. A bottle-stopper comprisingr a body portion1 and a substantially U shaped tab formed inte ral with said bod portion and projecting rom the circum erential edge thereof 6.
