Since the picnic table and the chairs are easily to be carried, the structures of the picnic table and the chairs are weak and light in weight. When the picnic table and the chairs are used in the events, the picnic table and the chairs are not strong enough to support heavy items placing on the picnic table or to support the user to sit on the chair. Since the picnic table and the chairs are individual items, each individual item has its own loading capacity. As a result, there is no connecting link between the picnic table and the chair that is capable of transferring the loading force between the picnic table and the chairs to enhance the rigidity of the picnic table set. In addition, since there is no interlock between the picnic table and the chairs, the picnic table set does not include any means for maintain the stability between the picnic table and the chairs.
  • An improved picnic table set further comprises a plurality of linkage arms extended from a bottom side of the tabletop of the picnic table to the sides of the chairs respectively to enhance the stabilization of the picnic table set. However, the improved picnic table set has the drawbacks of taking the seating area of each of the chairs and blocking the user to get in and out of the chairs. In addition, the foldable structure of the picnic table set will be complicated with the linkage arms.
