To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, DAVID M. BEAIRD, a citizen of the United States, residing at C0- lumbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Writing-Desks, of which the followingis a specification.

My invention relates to writing desks and is, in nature, an attachment deslgned-to be used in connection with beds of a well known type. Myinvention is particularly desirable for use among soldiers to be attached to the beds used by them in their barracks.

A further object of my invention resides in making this structure collapsible, so that it will require very little space when in its collapsed position, but which may be moved to an operative position and be made to kee this position as long as desired.
