Abstract

A baby swaddle comprises a swaddle unit and two support straps. The swaddle unit extends along a height direction and has a neck opening. The swaddle unit comprises a first sheet and a second sheet that can be opened and disposed on the first sheet. The support straps are spaced apart in a width direction and disposed on a surface of the first sheet facing the second sheet. The width direction is substantially perpendicular to the height direction. Each of the support straps can form a loop. When the present invention is put on a baby, the baby's legs can be passed through the loops formed by the support straps, so that the legs are in an M-shaped leg posture, so as to maintain the correct hip joint position of the baby and have a warming effect.

Description

Baby Swaddles

The present invention relates to a baby product, in particular to a baby swaddle.

Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is a common hip problem in infants. It refers to poor stability or dislocation between the femur and the acetabulum. It may be accompanied by asymmetric folds of the skin of the feet or limited thigh extension angle. The most common initial treatment is to use a Pavlik Harness for a long time to make the baby's lower limbs present an M-shaped leg (Spread Squat position) and keep the hip joint in the correct position. In daily life, you can use a loose swaddle for the lower body to keep the baby's lower body free to bend or stretch, or use a sling to support the baby's legs, or sit in a wider baby chair.

However, there are many swaddles on the market, such as square wrap-around swaddles, anti-kick swaddles or butterfly-shaped comfort swaddles. However, these swaddles are too tight and it is difficult to keep the baby's hip joint in the correct position, so they are not suitable.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a baby swaddle which can maintain the correct hip joint position of the baby.

Therefore, the baby swaddle of the present invention comprises a swaddle unit and two support straps. The swaddle unit extends along a height direction and has a neck opening. The swaddle unit comprises a first sheet and a second sheet that can be opened and disposed on the first sheet. The support straps are spaced apart in a width direction and disposed on a surface of the first sheet facing the second sheet. The width direction is substantially perpendicular to the height direction. Each support strap can form a loop.

The effect of the present invention is that when the present invention is put on an infant, the infant's legs can be passed through the loops formed by the support belts by arranging the support belts on the wrapping unit, so that the legs present an M-shaped leg posture to maintain the correct hip joint position of the infant. When the second sheet covers the first sheet, it can also provide warmth for the infant.

1 to 3 , an embodiment of the baby swaddle of the present invention comprises a swaddle unit 1 and two support straps 2.

The wrapping unit 1 extends along a height direction H and has a neck opening 11. The wrapping unit 1 includes a first sheet 101 (i.e., the back sheet), and a second sheet 102 (i.e., the front sheet) that can be opened and arranged on the first sheet 101. The first sheet 101 and the second sheet 102 are both made of double-gauze fabric, which has the characteristics of being soft, comfortable, fluffy and breathable. The first sheet 101 has a body 12, and two shoulders 13 extending from the body 12 respectively. The body 12 of the first sheet 101 has at least one first fastener 121 arranged along the outer periphery. One of the shoulders 13 is longer than the other shoulder 13 in the height direction H, and has at least one first fastener 131. The first plate 101 of this embodiment has six first fastening members 121 , and the first fastening members 121 are respectively disposed at two opposite sides in a width direction W substantially perpendicular to the height direction H. The one shoulder 13 of this embodiment has two first fastening members 131 .

The second sheet 102 has at least one second fastening member 14 disposed along the outer periphery for fastening to the first fastening members 121, and at least one second fastening member 15. The second sheet 102 of this embodiment has six second fastening members 14 corresponding to the first fastening members 121, and two second fastening members 15 for fastening to the first fastening members 131. When the shoulder portion 13 of the first sheet 101 is folded forward, the first fastening members 131 can be fastened to the second fastening members 15 respectively.

More specifically, the first fastening members 121 and the second fastening members 14 are snap fasteners, and the first fastening members 131 and the second fastening members 15 are also snap fasteners, which are easy to put on and take off, and the snap fasteners are smooth in appearance and not sharp, and have the advantage of reducing skin scratches. However, in some variations, the first fastening members 121 and the second fastening members 14, the first fastening members 131 and the second fastening members 15 can also be zippers, Velcro, buttons or other detachable and snap-on fastening elements.

In some variations, one of the shoulders 13 of the first sheet 101 can be directly sewn to the second sheet 102 like the other shoulder 13 , so the first fasteners 131 can be omitted from one of the shoulders 13 , and the second fasteners 15 can be omitted from the second sheet 102 .

Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4 , the support belts 2 are spaced apart in the width direction W and are disposed on the surface of the first sheet 101 facing the second sheet 102. Each support belt 2 includes a belt body 21, a first connector set 22 disposed on the belt body 21, and a second connector set 23 disposed on the belt body 21. The belt body 21 has a first end 211 fixed to the first sheet 101, and a second end 212 opposite to the first end 211 and lower than the first end 211 in the height direction H. The first connector set 22 is fixed to the first end 211, and the second connector set 23 is fixed to the second end 212. The first connector set 22 of this embodiment has two pairs of snap fasteners spaced apart in the height direction H. The second connector set 23 is a pair of snap fasteners. In some variations, the first connecting member set 22 and the second connecting member set 23 can be a snap fastener, or can be replaced by a zipper, Velcro, button or other detachable and fastening fastener elements.

The second end 212 of each support belt 2 can be folded relative to the first end 211, and interlocked with the first connection assembly 22 through the second connection assembly 23, so that each support belt 2 forms a loop 20. In this embodiment, each second connection assembly 23 can be selectively engaged with one pair of four-in-one buckles of the corresponding first connection assembly 22 to form loops 20 of different sizes to fit different leg circumferences.

Furthermore, the front and rear surfaces of the belt body 21 of each support belt 2 are evenly distributed with a plurality of protrusions 213. The protrusions 213 can imitate the touch of a mother's nipple, can stimulate the development of the infant's sense of touch, and have the effect of soothing emotions.

1 and 2 , the wrapping unit 1 can be switched between an open state (as shown in FIG. 2 ) and an anti-kick state (as shown in FIG. 1 ).

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 , when the wrapping unit 1 is in the open state, the second fastening members 14 are separated from the first fastening members 121, the first fastening members 131 are separated from the second fastening members 15, and the second sheet 102 is lifted off the first sheet 101 and does not cover the support bands 2. In the open state, the second end 212 of each support band 2 can be folded toward the first end 211, and the second connector assembly 23 is fastened to the first connector assembly 22 to form the rings 20 (see FIG. 3 ).

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 5 , when the wrapping unit 1 is in the anti-kick state, the second sheet 102 covers the first sheet 101 and covers the supporting straps 2, and the first sheet 101 and the second sheet 102 cooperate to define a swing-down opening 10 connected to the outside, and the second fastening members 14 are respectively fastened to the first fastening members 121, and the first fastening members 131 are respectively fastened to the second fastening members 15. In the anti-kick state, the two opposite sides of the wrapping unit 1 in the width direction W are constrained by the second fastening members 14 and the first fastening members 121 and cannot be opened, so this embodiment has an anti-kick effect.

When putting the present embodiment on a baby, the wrapping unit 1 is first switched to the open state, and then the baby is placed on the first sheet 101, so that the baby's head is exposed from the neck opening 11, and the baby's legs are spread out and placed on the support belts 2 respectively, and then the second end 212 of each support belt 2 is folded toward the first end 211, and the second connecting member set 23 is buckled with the first connecting member set 22 to form the loops 20. Then, the baby's legs will be hung on the loops 20 and present an M-shaped leg, so that the baby's hip joints are maintained in the correct position. Finally, the second sheet 102 is covered on the infant, and the second fastening members 14 are fastened to the first fastening members 121, and the first fastening members 131 are fastened to the second fastening members 15, so as to switch to the anti-kicking state.

The wrap unit 1 can provide appropriate warmth in the anti-kick state to prevent the infant from catching a cold, and can also reduce the risk of the infant being suffocated by the wrap unit 1 during sleep. In addition, the wrap unit 1 can provide enough space for the infant's lower body to bend or stretch freely through the design of the hem opening 10 when the infant is in the anti-kick state. When changing diapers, only one or more of the second fasteners 14 can be unfastened to lift up the lower part of the second sheet 102, exposing only the lower body of the infant, which can reduce the number of awakenings at night and facilitate diaper changing. The upper part of the wrap unit 1 still covers the infant, thus providing warmth and ensuring the infant's sleeping quality. This embodiment has an anti-kicking effect and a lift-up design, which is convenient and practical.

In addition, the protrusions 213 of the support straps 2 can imitate the touch of a mother's nipple, which can stimulate the development of the infant's sense of touch and have the effect of soothing emotions.

In addition to opening the second fastening members 14, the first fastening members 131 can also be opened, so that the second sheet 102 can be opened simultaneously in the height direction H and the width direction W relative to the first sheet 101. Therefore, this embodiment is easy to put on and take off without waking up the baby.

In some variations, each of the support belts 2 can also be designed as an elastic band type, and the baby's feet can be passed through by loosening the loops 20.

In some variations, the second sheet 102 can be fixedly connected to the first sheet 101 at one side, so that the second sheet 102 can be opened left and right relative to the first sheet 101, which also has the advantage of being easy to put on and take off.

In summary, the baby swaddle of the present invention can pass the baby's legs through the loops 20 formed by the support belts 2 by arranging the swaddle unit 1, so that the legs present an M-shaped leg posture to maintain the correct hip joint position of the baby. When the second sheet 102 covers the first sheet 101, it can also provide a warming effect. In addition, when the swaddle unit 1 is in the anti-kick state, the lower hem of the second sheet 102 can be opened by the flip-up design, which is convenient for changing diapers and allows the baby's lower body to have enough space to bend or stretch freely. This embodiment also utilizes the protrusions 213 of the support straps 2 to imitate the touch of a mother's nipple, which can stimulate the development of the infant's sense of touch and have the effect of soothing emotions, so the purpose of the present invention can be achieved.

However, the above is only an embodiment of the present invention and should not be used to limit the scope of implementation of the present invention. All simple equivalent changes and modifications made according to the scope of the patent application of the present invention and the content of the patent specification are still within the scope of the present patent.

Claims (10)

A baby swaddle comprises: a swaddle unit extending in a height direction and having a neck opening, the swaddle unit comprising a first sheet and a second sheet which can be opened and disposed on the first sheet; and two support straps which are spaced apart in a width direction and disposed on a surface of the first sheet facing the second sheet, the width direction being substantially perpendicular to the height direction, and each of the support straps being capable of forming a loop. A baby swaddle as described in claim 1, wherein each support strap has a first end and a second end that are oppositely disposed in the height direction, the first end of each support strap is disposed on the first sheet, and the second end of each support strap can be folded relative to the first end to form the loop. A baby swaddle as described in claim 1, wherein the first sheet has at least one first fastener arranged along the outer periphery, and the second sheet has at least one second fastener arranged along the outer periphery, and the swaddle unit can be switched between an anti-kick state and an open state. In the anti-kick state, the second fastener is fastened to the first fastener, and the second sheet covers the support straps. In the open state, the second fastener is detached from the first fastener, and the second sheet does not cover the support straps. A baby swaddle as described in claim 3, wherein the first sheet has a plurality of first fasteners, the first fasteners are respectively arranged on two opposite sides in the width direction, and the second sheet has a plurality of second fasteners whose positions correspond to the first fasteners. A baby swaddle as described in claim 4, wherein the first fastening components and the second fastening components are four-fastening fasteners. The baby swaddle as described in claim 3, wherein the first sheet has a body and two shoulders extending from the body, one of the shoulders has at least one first fastener, and the second sheet has at least one second fastener for fastening to the first fastener. A baby swaddle as described in claim 3, wherein the lower part of the second sheet can be lifted up in the anti-kick state. A baby swaddle as described in claim 1, wherein each support strap includes a strap body, a first connector set disposed on the strap body, and a second connector set for buckling the first connector set, and the first connector set and the second connector set are respectively disposed at two opposite ends of the strap body. A baby swaddle as described in claim 8, wherein a plurality of protrusions are distributed on the surface of the belt body of each support belt. The baby swaddle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second sheet can be opened in the height direction and the width direction relative to the first sheet.
