Abstract

The present invention provides a support leg and a baby crib. The support leg includes a main body portion, an extendable portion, an extension mechanism, and a buffer mechanism. The extendable portion is slidably connected to the main body portion and has an extended state and a retracted state relative to the main body portion. The extension mechanism is arranged between the main body portion and the extendable portion and configured to realize extension and retraction of the extendable portion. The buffer mechanism is configured to slow down an extension speed at which the extendable portion is switched from the retracted state to the extended state. The extendable portion of the support leg realizes extension and retraction relative to the main body portion through the extension mechanism, and when the extendable portion is switched from the retracted state to the extended state, the buffer mechanism can slow down the extension speed of the extendable portion, thereby preventing impact noise, also preventing hit on a user's body, increasing a safety coefficient, and improving user experience.
