The invention relates to containers for piece goods, in particular to demonstration racks, which have pivotal shelves.

The purpose of the invention is to increase the usable area of the container rack.

The essence of the invention is that detachable shelves are divided into four cantilever turning parts by dividing lines along an axis of symmetry parallel to one of the sides of the shelf and along two arcs of circles with centers lying on the axles of the uprights. In this case, the total area of all parts of the split shelf is equal to the area of the fixed shelf.
