Abstract

A helmet arrangement includes a protective helmet (20) that has a helmet support (14, 50) carried by an item of equipment. The helmet arrangement is intended to be placed stably on the upper body of the wearer. The support (14, 40) is disconnectibly connected to the protective helmet, so as to enable forces to be transferred from the helmet to the upper body of the wearer via the support and said item of equipment.
