Abstract

Description

{A multifunctional bed with mobility convenience}

The present invention relates to a multi-functional bed with convenient portability.

Elderly and disabled people who have difficulty moving and are bedridden for long periods of time generally have difficulty or are unable to move on their own and must lie in bed in the same position for long periods of time.

When lying on a bed in the same position like this, blood circulation and metabolism do not proceed smoothly in the body parts that are pressed against the bed mattress by the patient's body weight.

Because blood circulation and metabolism are not smooth, bedsores develop in the affected body parts, causing doubly painful experiences for the patients.

To prevent bedsores, the patient's lying position should be changed at regular intervals to relieve pressure on the affected area.

In particular, patients who have difficulty or are unable to move tend to lie down, which increases the pressure on their back and buttocks, so bedsores often occur on the back and buttocks. To prevent bedsores from occurring on the back and buttocks, patients should be periodically turned to the left or right side.

However, it is difficult to always have a family member or caregiver by the patient's side, and even if a family member or caregiver is present, it is very difficult to frequently change the position of a heavy patient.

To solve these problems, air mattresses that inflate air were designed, but they had the problem that they could increase patient discomfort because one side was excessively inflated without considering the comfort of the patient lying down, making it difficult for the patient to maintain a horizontal position.

In addition, conventional beds not only have difficulty preventing bedsores, but also have difficulty in changing to various sitting or lying positions (eating, etc.), which are functional positions necessary for the vulnerable, and in moving the bed itself. In addition, there is no bathing assistance function (changing positions when bathing, shower function) that allows bathing in bed without moving separately. In conclusion, there is an urgent need for technological development for multifunctional beds that are convenient for both the vulnerable and caregivers, thereby reducing the burden of care.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a multifunctional bed that accurately implements a motion that prevents concentrated load from being applied to a part of the body while maintaining the posture of the subject.

In addition, the purpose is to provide a multi-functional bed that facilitates patient transfer by putting the patient on or off the bed, and conveniently performs sitting and moving.

The multifunctional bed embodying the convenience of movement of the present invention comprises: a bed body; a patient transfer part that is detachably connected to the center of the bed body while being inserted from the footboard side of the bed body, wherein the bed body includes a backrest adjustment part that adjusts the angle of the backrest frame of the patient transfer part when the patient transfer part is separated; the patient transfer part comprises a seat frame that can be folded at a predetermined relative angle from a horizontal state and is positioned at positions corresponding to the hips, back, legs, and arms of a patient; the backrest frame, the leg support frame, and the footrest frame; a lower frame part that supports the seat frame and to which front wheels and rear wheels are coupled; and a transfer part mat that covers the seat frame, the backrest frame, the leg support frame, and the footrest frame; and a pair of side rotation rails that are installed on the long sides of the frame and are raised and lowered by an elevating means; the rotation rails are provided with a rotation member that rotates by a driving means, and a transverse sheet is slidably wound around the rotation member.

The multifunctional bed embodying the convenience of movement of the present invention is divided into a plurality of pieces, each connected to one another by a hinge structure, and is transformed into various shapes by rotation, so that the posture of a patient with difficulty in moving can be changed as if a caregiver were taking care of the patient by the mattress frame that supports the patient.

Additionally, a transverse sheet can be connected to a pair of side swivel rails to automatically perform a patient transfer operation to raise or lower a patient onto a bed.

A multifunctional patient bed according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a bed body and a patient transfer part that is detachably connected to a central portion of the bed body while being inserted from a footboard side of the bed body.

The above bed body may include an upper frame that can move up and down, a lower frame located on the lower side of the upper frame, an actuator located on the lower frame and operated by control via a control box, a height adjustment unit that adjusts the height of the upper frame by the action of the actuator, and a backrest adjustment unit that adjusts the backrest frame while the patient transfer unit is coupled.

The above patient transfer unit can be folded at a predetermined relative angle from a horizontal state, and includes a seat frame, a backrest frame, a leg support frame, and a footrest frame positioned at positions corresponding to the patient's hips, back, legs, and arms, a lower frame part supporting the seat frame and to which front wheels and rear wheels are coupled, and a transfer unit mat covering the seat frame, backrest frame, leg support frame, and footrest frame.

When the bed body and the patient transfer unit are combined, a bed in which a patient can lie down completely is completed, and when transfer of the patient is necessary, the patient transfer unit can be separated from the bed body.

The detached patient transfer unit is self-moving and can be powered if required.

The upper frame of the bed body includes a floor frame that supports the bed mat. The floor frame and the bed mat have the same planar shape, and the floor frame has an open side toward the patient's feet and an insertion space in the center into which the patient transfer part is inserted.

That is, the floor frame has a 'ㄷ' shaped structure on a flat surface.

Height-adjustable and foldable fall protection guards are located on both sides of the floor frame, and the headboard and footboard are connected on opposite sides to ensure safety when moving the bed.

In particular, the footboard is structured to be openable by a footboard hinge to allow the patient transfer section to enter and exit through the insertion space provided by the floor frame.

Additionally, the bed is installed on the long side of the frame and includes a pair of side rotating rails that are raised and lowered by a lifting means.

Accordingly, the frame can be rotated to raise or lower only the patient's head, raise or lower only the legs, and be used in a sitting position, lying down position, semi-lying position, or chair-like position.

That is, it is divided into multiple parts, each connected to a hinge structure, and can be transformed into various shapes by rotation, so that the patient's posture can be changed by a caregiver through a frame that supports the patient.
