【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】車椅子本体の側部に根端部を介して回動自
在に軸着される駐車ブレーキレバーと、該駐車ブレーキ
レバーによって操作されブレーキ時に車椅子の主車輪の
タイヤに圧接するブレーキアームと、該車椅子本体の後
縁下部に中間部を回動自在に軸着される足踏み式駐車ブ
レーキのペダル杆と、該駐車ブレーキレバーの中間部と
該ペダル杆の根端部とを連絡する連絡杆とからなり、該
ペダル杆の軸着部の上下位置および該連絡杆の長さは調
節可能とされていることを特徴とする車椅子の駐車ブレ
ーキ機構
1. A parking brake lever pivotally attached to a side portion of a wheelchair body via a root end portion, and a brake arm which is operated by the parking brake lever and presses against a tire of a main wheel of the wheelchair during braking. And a communication linking a pedal rod of a foot-operated parking brake whose middle portion is pivotally attached to the lower rear edge of the wheelchair body, a middle portion of the parking brake lever and a root end portion of the pedal rod. A parking brake mechanism for a wheelchair, characterized in that the vertical position of the shaft attachment portion of the pedal rod and the length of the connecting rod are adjustable.
