An auxiliary bed is often used in which the legs are folded to the lower surface of the frame and stored in the space below the patient's bed after medication is taken.

を招く結果となつていた。 A conventional auxiliary bed will be explained with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. The auxiliary bed 1 has a pair of arched legs 4 close to both ends of the neck and foot of the bed frame 3 on which the mattress 2 is placed, and a linear upper connecting rod 5.
The bed frame 3 and the legs 4 are rotatably connected from the sides by a lower connecting rod 6, so that the bed frame 3 and the legs 4 are erected. In addition, the upper connecting rod 5
And the connecting points of the lower connecting rod 6 to the frame body 3 are 7, 9,
Alternatively, the connection points to the leg body 4 are 8 and 10. Since the connecting rods 5 and 6 are made of strong and long steel strips, when used in an upright position as shown in FIG. is relatively large and solid. However, the strength in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is relatively small due to the bending effect, and there is a drawback that the frame 3, that is, the bed 1 as a whole sways when the bed is used. Further, in the past, the mechanism of a stopper device (not shown) for fixing the legs in a standing state was complicated and required a large number of parts, resulting in an increase in costs.

In an auxiliary bed constructed so that the bed legs can be erected by being rotatably connected and stored by rotating the bed legs toward the lower surface of the frame, the bed frame is supported by the upper connecting rod when the legs are standing. The upper connecting rod is inclined from the connecting point to the bed frame, and the upper connecting rod is bent at a predetermined intermediate point where the upper surface touches the lower surface of the bed frame, so that the lower surface of the bed frame can be bent. forming a horizontal part along the horizontal part and connecting its end to the leg body;
The above object is achieved by supporting the bed frame at the horizontal portion.

This is because the shape of the upper connecting rod 5 has been changed. That is, in the conventional auxiliary bed, the strength in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the connecting rods 5 and 6 that support the standing leg 4 is relatively small due to the bending action, and when the bed is used, the frame 3 and therefore the bed This has the drawback that the entire leg body 1 sways horizontally, giving the user a sense of instability, and furthermore, a stopper device (not shown) is required to fix the movement of the leg body 4 in the rotational direction in a standing state. This device has a complex configuration;
In addition, since the number of parts is large, installation of this device requires considerable cost.

After bending at a predetermined intermediate point to form a horizontal portion 18 along the lower surface of the bed frame 3, the horizontal portion 18 is connected to the leg 4 at its end 17.

きる。 By configuring the upper connecting rod 15 as described above, when the bed is used with the legs 4 standing,
The frame body 3 has its lower surface connected to the horizontal part 18 of the upper connecting rod 15.
Since the upper connecting rod 15 is supported by the upper surface of the bed, the upper connecting rod 15 is strongly suppressed by the weight of the frame 3 and other objects and does not sway horizontally, making it possible to obtain an extremely stable auxiliary bed. Therefore, the leg 4
There is no need to attach a fixing stopper device, and compared to conventional auxiliary beds, it is possible to provide an auxiliary bed that is simpler in structure, lighter in weight, and moreover inexpensive.

The connecting rod is tilted from the connection point of the frame, and the upper surface is in contact with the lower surface of the frame so that the frame can be supported horizontally by the upper connecting rod when standing. Since the bed is bent at certain points to form a horizontal part and connected to the leg, it has the effect of eliminating lateral sway when using the bed and giving the user a sense of stability, compared to conventional auxiliary beds. Furthermore, since there is no need for a stopper device for fixing the movement of the standing leg, it is possible to provide an auxiliary bed that is simpler in structure and lighter in weight than conventional auxiliary beds, and is also strong and inexpensive. .
