上述した制御状態において詳述したとおり、荷台7を上げると、荷台接触棒13は自在車回転制御棒12の自重で持ち上がり、同時に自在車回転制御棒12が下がり後輪(自在車)4の旋回方向の回転が制御される(図5(a)参照)。
(3)荷物を持ち上げるときに、細かな位置合わせが必要な場合
上述した手動解除状態において詳述したとおり、自在車回転制御棒12を解除手段又は作業者の足先の操作で持ち上げることで、後輪(自在車)4の旋回方向の回転が可能になり位置合わせができる(図5(c)参照)。
(4)台車を操作して荷物を持ち上げる。
上記(2)と同様に自在車回転制御棒12が下がり後輪(自在車)4の旋回方向の回転が制御される。
(5)荷物を安全に下げることができる位置まで台車を後退させる。
上記(4)と同様に自在車回転制御棒12が下がった状態を維持して後輪(自在車)4の旋回方向の回転が制御される。
(6)荷物が載った荷台7を下げる。
上記(1)と同様に自在車回転制御棒12の棒状体121の先端部が水平状態から上向きに持ち上がり後輪(自在車)4の旋回方向の回転制御が自動的に解除される(図5(b)参照)。この状態で荷物が載った台車を次の目的地まで運ぶ。
