Description

The present invention relates to a locking mechanism capable of adjusting the inclination angle of the backrest and a chair provided with the locking mechanism.

Conventionally, chairs provided with a locking mechanism have been widely used. An example of the locking mechanism is a mechanism using a four-sided link mechanism and a gas spring (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Such a locking mechanism adjusts the swing angle of the backrest to a desired angle by deforming the four-sided link mechanism with the gas spring in a free state, and in this state, by turning the gas spring into the locked state, The wobbling angle is fixed.
JP 2002-119373 A

However, since the four-side link mechanism and the gas spring are indispensable in the conventional one, there is a problem that the structure of the entire locking mechanism is complicated and the cost is increased, and the gas spring is in a free state and a locked state. Since there is no operational feeling such as a click feeling when switching between them, it is impossible to grasp whether or not any of the selected states has been reached, and while not familiar with the operation of such a locking mechanism There is also a problem that the user feels uneasy about whether or not the switching can be performed accurately each time the switching operation is performed.

In addition, since the gas spring can normally maintain a free state by continuously applying a predetermined operation to the operation unit (for example, by continuously pulling the operation lever, etc.), the swing angle of the backrest If you are not familiar with this method of operation, you must continue to apply operating force to the operating unit with one hand and support the body with the other hand. The adjustment work could not be performed smoothly, which was inconvenient.

The present invention has been made paying attention to such problems, and its main purpose is to simplify the structure and reduce the cost, to obtain a good operational feeling, and to further improve the operability. An object of the present invention is to provide a locking mechanism that is also improved.

That is, the locking mechanism of the present invention is capable of adjusting the inclination angle of the backrest, and is provided with a plurality of first reciprocating members provided at predetermined pitches on a reciprocating member capable of reciprocating in conjunction with the swinging of the backrest. A first engaging portion; a second engaging portion capable of engaging with the first engaging portion; and a biasing member for biasing the second engaging portion in a direction in which the second engaging portion is engaged with the first engaging portion. A locked state in which the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are engaged with each other to restrict the reciprocating motion of the reciprocating member, and the first energizing force against the urging force of the urging member. An operation unit for applying an operation force for switching between an unlocking state in which the engagement state between the engagement portion and the second engagement portion is released and the reciprocation of the reciprocating member is allowed. When the operation unit performs a predetermined operation such as pushing or pulling, either the locked state or the unlocked state Switching from state to the other state, characterized in that the operation when stopped continues to maintain the other state, but more can be switched to one state from the other states by performing the same operation.

In such a case, since the locking mechanism is configured without using the four-side link mechanism and the gas spring, the structure of the entire locking mechanism can be simplified, and the cost and weight can be reduced. Can also be achieved at the same time. Furthermore, since the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are engaged with each other in the locked state, it is possible to grasp whether or not the locked state is in a click feeling (operation feeling). In this way, it is possible to recognize through touch that the switching between the locked state and the unlocked state has been performed accurately, and the operability is excellent. In addition, since the operation unit is a so-called alternate operation type, the unlocked state is maintained even if the hand is released from the operation unit during the work of adjusting the tilt angle of the backrest, so that both hands can be freely used. Thus, the adjustment work can be easily performed.

As an example of the operation unit, the operation unit includes a slider that is slidable in a predetermined direction and a slider support that slidably supports the slider, and the slider is moved by the predetermined operation. A mode in which switching between the locked state and the unlocked state can be performed by moving between two different positions on the slider support.

Further, the second engaging portion is provided at a tip portion of the advancing / retreating member that performs the projecting / retracting operation, and includes a motion converting means for converting the movement of the slider into the projecting / retreating operation of the advancing / retreating member. If it exists, the operation with respect to the operation part can be transmitted and converted into the projecting and retracting operation of the advancing / retreating member, and the operability can be further improved.

As a preferred embodiment of the motion converting means, a cable having one end connected to the slider, one end connected to the other end of the cable, and the other end connected to the advancing / retracting member so as not to displace relative positions. In addition, a configuration in which a second biasing member that biases the advance / retreat member in a direction in which the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are engaged with each other is used.

In order to be able to adjust the inclination angle of the backrest while the seated person is seated, the operation section may be provided at the side front end of the seat section.

Moreover, the chair of this invention is equipped with the backrest and the said locking mechanism for adjusting the inclination-angle of the said backrest, It is characterized by the above-mentioned. If it is such, it will become a chair which realized simplification of a structure and improvement in operativity by an operation of a locking mechanism which has the effect mentioned above.

As described above, according to the present invention, the simplification of the structure and the cost reduction can be effectively achieved, a good operational feeling can be obtained, and the operability is excellent.

In order to enable the locking mechanism R to be switched between the locked state and the unlocked state by the movement of the slider RS2 between the engagement position (A) and the disengagement position (B), the locking mechanism R is connected to the slider RS2. There is provided a motion converting means R7 for converting the movement into the retracting motion of the advance / retreat member RX.

The motion converting means R7 is connected to the cable R71 having one end portion (outer end portion) connected to the slider RS2 and the advance / retreat member RX so that the relative position cannot be displaced. A second urging member R72 that urges the engaging portion R3 in a direction in which the engaging portion R3 is engaged and a direction in which the cable R71 is separated from the slider RS2 is provided.

The cable R71 has the other end connected to the pin R71a, and a Bowden cable is applied in this embodiment. The cable R71 is stretched in a substantially horizontal direction.

The second urging member R72 has one end portion (upper end portion) connected to the other end portion (inward end portion) of the cable R71 and the other end portion (lower end portion) connected to the advancing / retreating member RX so that the relative position cannot be displaced. Is. In the present embodiment, a leaf spring is applied as the second urging member R72. In addition, a hook portion R72a that can be hooked on a pin R71a connected to the other end portion of the cable R71 is provided at one end portion (upper end portion) of the second urging member R72, and the hook portion R72a is hooked on the pin R71a. One end (upper end) of the second urging member R72 is coupled to the other end of the cable R71.

Next, an operation method and an operation related to the locking mechanism R will be described.

First, in order to switch the locking mechanism R in the locked state to the unlocked state, it is performed by applying an operation force to pull up the operation unit body RS1 with a finger. As a result, the slider RS2 moves in the direction in which the hook portion RS21 is engaged with the stopper portion RS31 while being guided by the guide portion RS32 of the slider support RS3. At this time, the hook portion RS21 is elastically deformed two-dimensionally along the shape of the stopper portion RS31, and when the hook portion RS21 gets over the stopper portion RS31, the hook portion RS21 is elastically restored and engaged with the stopper portion RS31. When the application of the operation force is stopped (the hand is released from the operation unit main body RS1), the operation unit main body RS1 is automatically returned to the initial position before the operation by the urging force of the operation unit main body urging member (not shown). The slider RS2 is held at the engagement position (A) in which the hook portion RS21 is engaged with the stopper portion RS31 (see FIG. 3A). As the slider RS2 moves from the disengagement position (B) to the engagement position (A), the cable R71 and the second urging member R72 constituting the operation converting means R7 are replaced with the second urging member R72. The forward / backward member RX connected to the second urging member R72 is also effective for the urging force of the urging member R4, moving outward in the horizontal direction (direction approaching the operation unit main body RS1). And move outward along the horizontal direction (in other words, move away from the reciprocating member R1). Thereby, the engagement state of 2nd engagement part R3 and 1st engagement part R2 is cancelled | released, and the locking mechanism R will be in a lock release state. In the unlocked state, the occupant uses the urging force of a urging member (not shown) for urging the backrest 2 while urging the backrest 2 while putting his / her weight on the backrest 2. The backrest 2 can be rocked against this. The swinging of the backrest 2 is realized by the frame body 21 constituting the lower end portion of the backrest 2 swinging around the first hinge portion H1. In conjunction with the swing of the frame body 21, the reciprocating member R1 connected to the frame body 21 via the second hinge portion H2 reciprocates. The reciprocating movement of the reciprocating member R1 is guided by the second guide means R6. The range of movement of the reciprocating member R1 is restricted by the long hole 31a formed in the back seat body.

On the other hand, in order to switch the locking mechanism R in the unlocked state to the locked state, the same operation (operation of pulling up the operation unit main body RS1) is performed. By this operation, the slider RS2 moves in a direction in which the hook portion RS21 is separated from the stopper portion RS31, and the engagement state between the hook portion RS21 and the stopper portion RS31 is released. When the application of the operation force is stopped (the hand is released from the operation unit main body RS1), the operation unit main body RS1 automatically returns to a position slightly lowered from the initial position, and the hook portion RS21 of the slider RS2 has a stopper portion. It is three-dimensionally guided by the guide portion RS32 of the slider support RS3 so as to pass under the RS31, and is held at the disengagement position (B) (see FIG. 3B). As the slider RS2 moves from the engagement position (A) to the engagement release position (B), the cable R71 and the second urging member R72 are moved horizontally by the urging force of the second urging member R72. The advancing / retreating member RX that moves inwardly (in a direction away from the operation unit main body RS1) and is connected to the second urging member R72 also follows the horizontal direction by the urging force of the urging member R4 and the second urging member R72. And move outward (in other words, move toward the reciprocating member R1). As a result, the second engaging portion R3 engages with the corresponding first engaging portion R2 in the horizontal direction, and the locking mechanism R enters the locked state. In the locked state, the reciprocating motion of the reciprocating member R1 is restricted. As a result, the swinging of the entire backrest 2 including the frame body 21 is restricted, and the swinging angle of the backrest 2 is fixed.

As described above, the chair according to this embodiment includes a plurality of first engaging portions R2 provided with a locking mechanism R at a predetermined pitch on the reciprocating member R1 that can reciprocate in conjunction with the swing of the backrest 2. A second engagement portion R3 that can engage with the first engagement portion R2 in a concave-convex manner, and a biasing member R4 that biases the second engagement portion R3 in a direction to engage the first engagement portion R2. Since it is equipped with an operation unit RS for applying an operation force for switching from the locked state to the unlocked state and from the unlocked state to the locked state, the locking mechanism is configured using a four-sided link mechanism and a gas spring. Compared with the embodiment described above, not only can the cost and weight be reduced, but also the simplification of the structure of the entire locking mechanism can be effectively achieved. Further, since the first engaging portion R2 and the second engaging portion R3 engage with each other in the locked state, the seated person can determine whether or not the locked state is in the locked state through a click feeling (operation feeling) obtained by the uneven engagement. It can be grasped and the operation can be suitably performed regardless of familiarity / unfamiliarity. In addition, since the operation unit RS is of a so-called alternate operation type, when the inclination angle of the backrest 2 is adjusted, the unlocked state is maintained even if the hand is released from the operation unit RS. And the adjustment work can be easily performed.

In particular, the operation unit RS includes a slider RS2 that is slidable and a slider support RS3 that slidably supports the slider RS2. The slider RS2 is moved in the slider support RS3 by the predetermined operation. By moving between two different positions (engagement position (A) / engagement release position (B)), the locking mechanism R can be switched between the locked state and the unlocked state. The locking mechanism R can be accurately switched based on the operation for.

Further, the locking mechanism R includes operation converting means R7 that converts the movement of the slider RS2 into the projecting and retracting operation of the advance / retreat member RX, and one end of the operation converting means R7 is connected to the slider RS2. The cable R71, the upper end portion is connected to the other end portion of the cable R71, the lower end portion is connected to the advance / retreat member RX so as not to be relatively displaceable, and the first engagement portion R2 and the second engagement portion R3 are engaged. Since the second biasing member R72 that biases the advance / retreat member RX in the direction to be moved is used, the movement of the slider RS2 based on the operation on the operation unit RS can be transmitted to the switching operation of the locking mechanism R. In addition, the motion conversion means R7 can be realized with a simple structure.

Since the operation part RS is provided in the side front end part of the seat part 1, it can access with respect to the operation part RS with the seated person sitting, and becomes excellent in operability and practicality.

In particular, the second engagement portion R3 is provided at one end portion of the advancing / retracting member RX that is substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of the reciprocating member R1 and that protrudes and retracts in a substantially horizontal direction. Since the first engaging portion R2 and the second engaging portion R3 are engaged in the horizontal direction, the second engaging portion is provided on the advancing / retracting member that protrudes and retracts in the vertical direction, and the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are provided. The height dimension of the locking mechanism R can be set smaller than the aspect in which the joint portion engages in the vertical direction, and the entire locking mechanism R can be made compact.

Further, since the locking mechanism R includes the first guide means R5 for guiding the advance / retreat movement of the advance / retreat member RX, the advance / retreat member RX can be moved smoothly and accurately.

In addition, since the first guide means R5 is configured using a holding portion 32 provided on the back seat support 3 and capable of holding the advance / retreat member RX in a state in which the advance / retreat operation is possible, the first guide means R5 is provided. It can be realized with a simple structure.

The frame body 21 constituting the lower end portion of the back support rod is slidably connected to the back seat support body 3 via the first hinge part H1, and the reciprocating member R1 has one end part via the second hinge part H2. Are connected to the frame body 21 and reciprocate substantially linearly along the front-rear direction of the back seat support 3 in conjunction with the swinging of the frame body 21, thus ensuring the movement of the reciprocating member R1. Therefore, the space along the height direction can be kept small, and the locking mechanism R can be made compact.

Further, since the back support 3 is provided with the second guide means R6 for guiding the reciprocating motion of the reciprocating member R1, the reciprocating member R1 can be moved smoothly and accurately. In the present embodiment, since the protruding portion 33 provided on the back support 3 is applied as the second guide means R6, the second guide means R6 can be realized with a simple structure.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described in detail above.

For example, the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion may be anything that engages with each other, for example, even if the first engagement portion is a convex portion and the second engagement portion is a concave portion. I do not care. Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the through-hole is applied as an example of a recessed part, it may replace with a through-hole and may have a bottomed recessed part. Furthermore, the convex part may be a claw-like one. Furthermore, when a plurality of second engaging portions are provided and the locking mechanism is in the locked state, a mode in which the plurality of second engaging portions engage with the corresponding first engaging portions may be adopted. . Note that at least two or more first engaging portions may be provided on the reciprocating member, and four or more first engaging portions may be provided on the reciprocating member. This increases the selectable backrest swing angle, which is preferable.

Moreover, you may comprise each urging | biasing member by things (a leg spring, a torsion bar, etc.) other than a compression spring and a leaf | plate spring.

Further, the second engaging portion may be moved between a position where the second engaging portion is engaged with the first engaging portion and a position where the engaged state is released without providing the second engaging portion on the advance / retreat member. Good. Moreover, you may employ | adopt the aspect which engages a 1st engaging part and a 2nd engaging part in a perpendicular direction.

In the above-described embodiment, the reciprocating member is exemplified as a member different from the back support rod (specifically, the frame body constituting the lower end portion of the back support rod). It is good also as a mode provided in one or a part which made the back support rod itself function as a reciprocating member.

The operation unit is preferably of an alternate operation type, and a heart-shaped cam system, a rotating cam system, or a ratchet cam system may be employed as an operation mechanism for the alternate operation. Further, the operation unit may be capable of operations other than the pulling operation, for example, operations such as pushing and turning.

The motion converting means may be constituted by a single piece or a combination of a cable, a second urging member, or another connecting member (flexible steel wire or plastic cable, glass fiber cable, or the like).

In addition, the operation unit may be set at an arbitrary position as long as it can be accessed while the seated person is seated, such as the rear end of the seat.

Furthermore, the locking mechanism may be applied to furniture other than a chair having a backrest, such as a bench or a sofa.

In addition, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
