Abstract

A hermetic closure for cans with pull-off opening, especially for carbonated liquids, of the type provided with a removable tab formed in one wall of the container, it comprises a moveable valve element situated on the inside of the can, controllable from the outside so as to completely close or leave at least partially open the passageway left behind by the tab when removed. The valve element comprises an essentially flat body with a plan surface larger than that of the opening tab and coupled to the opening wall of the container so as to be overlapping said passageway. The valve element is rotationally coupled to the wall of the container by a deep-drawn or equivalent pin able to guarantee gas tightness relative to the outside. <IMAGE>
