[Class 66.] To strengthen and stiffen the metal to be broken away, an outwardly-inclined upstanding rib 5, which may actually overlie the scoring, is provided within a continuous or interrupted external or internal weakening line 4 at the end of a lever lid or other can. According to the Provisional Specification, the rib may be disposed at any angle to the can end.
