Abstract
6393. "Itala" Fabbrica di Automobili. Aug. 11, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Brakes.-Relates to the brake mechanism of motor road vehicles, and consists in providing the brake lever with a small pulley to guide the transmission cable so as to render very obtuse, or even do away with, the angle which the cable makes on coming out from the tube connecting the two levers. The brake lever 1 is provided with a grooved pulley 2, which is mounted loosely on a spindle 3 and serves to guide the wire cable 4 coming out of the tube 5.
