Abstract

1,143,076. Moulding lipsticks &c. CRYSTAL PRODUCTS CO. Ltd. 1 Feb., 1967 [31 March, 1966], No. 14274/66. Heading B5A. A mould, for the manufacture of, e.g., lipsticks or mascara, comprises an upper plate 1 subdivided into a series of moulds 2, an embossed or engraved sheet 4, and a bottom cooling plate 3. In operation, the sheet is clamped between the upper and lower plates and the material cast in the moulds. The plates are then separated, the sheet removed from the bottom of plate 1, and the resulting articles ejected from plate 1. The sheet may be of waxed paper or glassine or metal foil.
