Figure pour l’abrégé : Fig. 3.A means of locomotion that allows walking or running with a weight less than the body's own weight. The invention relates to a means of locomotion, which can be folded and dismantled in less than a minute, making it possible to walk or run in climbs with a weight less than the own weight of the body thanks to an elastic harness (22) and to ride in the hills. descents thanks to two footrests (16). It is composed of a wheel at the front (1) directed by a handlebar (2) and two parallel wheels at the rear (3) between which the user, standing and suspended from the harness (22), will stand. move, without constantly holding the handlebars (2), thanks to a system of springs (24) fixed to a steering socket (10). The means of locomotion according to the invention is particularly intended for a person who has difficulty walking or who wants to start running again. Figure for the abstract: Fig. 3.
Description
The present invention is a means of locomotion ((Fig. 1) and (Fig. 2)) which makes it possible to walk or run with a weight less than one's own body weight on climbs or on flat ground (Fig. 3) and roll downhill thanks to two footrests (Fig. 4).
Unlike a classic three-wheeled balance bike, this one has no saddle and bar between the legs that prevent you from walking or running naturally.
The user is therefore standing (Fig. 3), suspended from an elastic harness which is fixed to a horizontal bar, itself supported by two uprights each sliding in a fork of a rear wheel (3). Part of the weight of the user's body is therefore supported by the 3 wheels and will therefore roll instead of being carried, thus relieving their joints of more than 12 kg or approximately 16% of their weight (Fig. 5). These two photos show the difference in mass before and after being hooked by means of locomotion.
The means of locomotion (Fig. 1) and (Fig. 2) is composed of a 14-inch wheel at the front (1) steered by a handlebar (2) and two 12-inch parallel wheels at the rear (3 ) between which the user will move. This vehicle is therefore stable, even when stationary. Its dimensions are 120 cm long by 90 cm wide and 184 cm high with a gap, between the two footrests (16), of 61 cm, allowing it not to be hampered when turning (Fig. 6) .
On its square ends (12) fits (Fig. 13) a piece of square tube (14) of side 25 mm, thickness 1.5 mm and 40 mm long on which are welded two pieces of round tube 25 mm in diameter to attach one of the two similar structures (Fig. 14) containing the rear wheels (3) to it, as well as a nut for screwing a butterfly screw therein to prevent sliding during use.
Chaque structure similaire est composée:
1) d’un tube coudé (15) rond
2) d’une roue (3) avec fourche (17) (Fig. 17).
3) d’un tube acier (18) rond
4) d’un autre tube coudé (19) rond (Fig. 19)
5) d’un tube en aluminium (20)
1) a bent tube (15) round
2) a wheel (3) with fork (17) (Fig. 17).
3) a round steel tube (18)
4) another bent tube (19) round (Fig. 19)
5) an aluminum tube (20)
So that the user has greater freedom of movement by not constantly keeping his hands on the handlebar (2), a system (Fig. 27) of two springs (24) has been mounted on a T-shaped paste ( 25) which is welded to the steering sleeve (10). These springs (24) have dimensions of 62 mm long by 13 mm wide and are attached (Fig. 28) on one side to a nut welded to each branch of the fork and on the other side to two screws eye through the paste (25) and retained by two bolts, screwed more or less. They thus adjust the rigidity of the front wheel (1) and prevent it from wobbling when moving.
Ce moyen de locomotion est pliable (Fig. 29). Il est aussi démontable (Fig. 30).This means of transport is foldable (Fig. 29). It is also removable (Fig. 30).
Its folded dimensions (Fig. 31) are 130 cm long by 82 cm high and only 31 cm wide. You can still, if necessary, reduce the length by 15 cm by removing the front wheel (1) so that it can be placed in a car (Fig. 32) between the backs of the front seats and the rear seats or else in a bicycle transport bag for the train for example.
1) Remove the U-tube (21) from the two uprights (20) (Fig. 24).
2) Unscrew (Fig. 33) one of the two butterfly screws to slide, towards the center, a structure (Fig. 14) containing a rear wheel (3).
3) Reassemble (Fig. 34) the articulated part using the connector (13) by pivoting the half circle held by the elastic upwards.
4) Unscrew (Fig. 35) the other butterfly screw to slide the second structure towards the centre.
5) Refit (Fig. 36) the other hinged part.
6) Pivot (Fig. 37) the handlebar (2) downwards.
7) Disengage (Fig. 38) the upper part of each upright (20) and place it on the front fork.
8) Fit (Fig. 39) the U-shaped tube (21) between the handlebar (2) and the round tube (11) containing the two articulated joints (13).
Once folded, it can be carried (Fig. 40) by grabbing it by the extension of the handlebar (4) since it weighs only 10 kg or rolling it (Fig. 41) on the front wheel (1) grabbing it by the handlebar (2).
Its disassembled dimensions are 90 cm long by 75 cm wide and 31 cm high. It fits (Fig. 42) therefore easily in the trunk of a car. Dismantling (Fig. 30) is even faster than folding. It is done in 4 steps:
1) Remove the U-tube (21) from the two uprights (20).
2) Remove the two tubes (20) from the rear forks (19) and fold them in half using the rubber bands.
3) Unscrew the two wing screws, to make the two structures containing a rear wheel (3) slide outwards this time.
4) Refit the two articulated connectors (13) installed on the central tube (11) in order to reduce the width of the part containing the front wheel (1).
These are (Fig. 43) two linear air chambers 26 inches long by 1.2 inches wide. They are each fixed (Fig. 44) from one end to the other by a quick-release buckle (23) allowing their length to be adjusted according to the size of the user and their needs in terms of relief. weight. A knot (Fig. 45) in string, joining two points of the air chamber creates two loops and prevents (Fig. 46) the air from passing into the loop containing the quick loop (23) during inflation of the loop containing the valve. The user (Fig. 47) will therefore slip each leg into each loop containing the valve of the inner tube and their swelling will follow the shape of the top of each thigh. In addition, to avoid friction between the two air chambers at the crotch, a sheath (Fig. 48) in elastic fabric covers the loop containing the valve. This is a 3cm wide piece of stockinette tubular band. Finally, to cling to the vehicle (Fig. 49), the user only has to close each quick loop (23) around an upright (20) and pass (Fig. 50) the chamber above the U-tube (21).
Ce moyen de locomotion (Fig. 51) pourrait intéresser:
