Abstract

The apparatus is a tubular U-shaped frame (1) whose ends are about 40 cm apart and are on either side of the pelvis. The frame is about 100 cm long and corresponds to the length of the legs. A horizontal bar, between the branches, supports the knees. The bar is supported by two brackets (5) and is covered with foam sleeves (6). A pole (7), fixed to the end of the frame, passes between the legs. A shorter horizontal bar (9) is fixed to this to support the feet. An elastic cord, fixed to the frame, passes through the pole.
