Abstract

The invention consists of a method making it possible to improve the operation of treadmills intended for exercising the locomotive function. According to the present invention, the speed of the conveyor belt of the treadmill is slaved to the position of the subject with reference to a fixed reference frame (such as the framework of the treadmill).
