Abstract

The chassis is formed by three U-shaped frame components articulated to each other. The branches (2,5) of two of these are arranged to align with one another in the use position, and are secured in this position by a locking device (18). The locking device comprises a sliding sleeve (19) which encloses one of the branches under the action of a return-biassing spring (24). A stop (20) defines a locking position of the device. The sleeve may be slid against the spring bias to allow the end (26) of the other branch to engage in a recess (27) to lock the branches together. ADVANTAGE - Simple, semi-automatic locking in one operation.
