Abstract

The present invention relates to a device allowing walking on foot in the seated position, which makes movement and the upright position less tiring. Constituted by a rolling part and a saddle or seat of adjustable height, it allows transfer of the weight of the body onto the latter, which allows or facilitates movement of the handicapped, and reduces tiredness (upright position). Any method can be used to connect the rolling parts 2, 3, 4 (wheels, pairs of wheels or rollers) and the saddle. The machine may accept a pair of handlebars and be arranged to bear a load or to carry provisions or baggage. It may also cover flexible shapes and receive a motor of appropriate power in order to overcome ramps more easily.

Description

DEVICE TO FACILITATE MOVING ON FOOT OR STANDING STATION
The present invention relates to a device for walking on foot in a sitting position which makes movement and standing less tiring.

 Many people find it very difficult to walk: victims of one or both lower limbs, tired or deformed lower limbs.

 For still more people the standing position, to which they are forced, is painful.

 One of the difficulties encountered by all these people stems from the fact that the lower limbs must support the main weight of the body, which has the effect of rolling, packing and wearing down the joints.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to considerably reduce the weights which the lower limbs have to bear and thus facilitates walking and standing.

 The device is described with reference to the accompanying drawing, given without limitation and in which FIG. 1 which is a view, schematically represents the constituent elements characteristic of the machine.

 Figures 2-3 and 4 show examples of 2-wheel devices.

 Figures 5 and 6 illustrate examples of 3-wheel devices.

 Figure 7 shows an example of a device with 4 wheels or bearings.

The device consists of wheels or pairs of wheels, or rolling cylinders (1) 2, 3 or 4, which support a seat or a saddle (2) fixed at a height (3) such that it carries the weight of the body as soon as the user makes a slight bending of the knees while keeping contact with the ground with the foot.

 The material used: wood, plastic, metal, light metal, influences the solution to be retained.

 All formulas can be used to connect rolling parts and saddles.

 As an embodiment, one can provide for a device with 2 wheels, a simple triangular frame, an N shape, a trapezoid shape, for the device with 3 wheels, a frame with rear fork, for that with 4 wheels, a horizontal platform resting on the bearing, like a "skate board" carrying a vertical axis.

 It can obviously take folding forms, both for the frame and for the handlebars, so that it can easily be transported and used at any time to make standing upright less painful.

 Finally, it can receive an engine of appropriate power, like "Solex" or towed mower to more easily cross the ramps.

 1) Device to make walking and standing less painful, characterized in that it comprises a train of bearings (1) and a saddle or seat (2) of adjustable height (3), the connection between the train and the seat being able to take the appropriate forms such as, simple planar structure, in triangle I in Nt in trapezoid, with rear fork, with horizontal plate carrying a vertical axis  2) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the height of the saddle (3) is adjustable according to the size of the user.  3) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it takes light and folding shapes.  4) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a fixed or foldable handlebar (4).  5) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is arranged to carry a burden or a mechanism for transporting provisions or luggage (5)  6) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it receives an engine of suitable power for crossing the ramps.  7) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it allows movement in a seated or semi-seated position, thanks to the saddle, the actuation being carried out using the feet (or a foot ) resting on the ground.
