Abstract

The table is adjustable in height and is suitable for e.g. school use; it consists of two parallel sleeves (2) joined by a crosspiece (3) onto which is fixed a frame (4) supporting the tabel top (5). Two tubular legs (6) slide in the sleeves (2) and can be locked at any height. The bottom of each leg (6) is joined to a tubular base (7) at right angles to it. The locking piece consists of a rod which is inside the leg and can be moved along it. One end of the rod is mounted in the leg base (7), and the other end is joined to a conical piece, which prevents the leg from moving relative to the sleeve.
