Abstract

The device is for ventilating a motor vehicle boot, to allow the transport of live animals. It comprises a prop (7) having a clip (10) near one end for fitting over one of the parts of the boot lock, such as the catch (4), while near the other end the prop is shaped for engaging with e.g. the bolt. The effective length of the prop can be adjustable; it being either telescopic with the two parts lockable in relation to each other, or having one of the devices engaging with part of the lock movable along it and lockable.
