Abstract

The movable arm-chair is for placing on a bed and enables the person in the bed to sit up comfortably. The arm-chair has a back rest (1) which is curved to fit and support the user. On each side of the back rest (1) are the two sides supporting the arms of the user (2, 2a). The top (3, 3a) of the arms (2, 2a) are preferably flat, horizontal or slightly sloping. The underneath surfaces (4, 4a) of the sides and of the back (5) are flat, and positioned on the same horizontal plane. The user sits on the bed in a sort of compartment (6) between the back rest (1) and the two sides (2, 2a).
