Abstract

The nappy-charging mat consists of a support (1) with fibrous surface (2) facing the baby being changed. The fibrous surface is absorbent and may have on it an outline (3) of a baby. The surface opposite the fibrous surface (2), is impervious, and is on the underneath. A pocket (4) for waste material is fixed to the support (1), for instance is stuck down. A tear-off strip (5) is for wiping the baby, and, after use, can be placed in the pocket (4). The mat forms one of a set of identical mats, and is particularly suitable for changing babies on journeys.
