Abstract

A folding trolley is designed to convey holiday equipment from the boot of a car onto the beach. It has a frame with a vertical grid (D) which is extended upwards to form a handle (Bp) and with bend rods at the bottom for securing the wheels. A horizontal grid (P) extending just above the wheels, can be folded upwards. This carries an arrangement of U shaped rod frames which can be erected to support the frames in a locked position. They can also be swung inwards for the folded position. A large loop (Ga) near the top, and a smaller loop (Cr) near the bottom can hold a beach umbrella. The wheels are wide and designed to travel on sand, or may be cylindrical.
