Abstract

The container has a neck (2) which ends in a screw thread (3). The thread is designed to receive a screw stopper (4) which is provided with a flat sealing washer (6). The screw top is covered with a plastics envelope (5) which is flanged over to cover the underside of the screw stopper (5a). The top of the plastics cover is cut to form a tear off strip so that the plastic cover may be discarded. When the container is first opened. The container cannot be opened without discarding the plastic seal (5) over the stopper.
