Abstract

The rowing machine has a frame (7) of tubular construction with front (11) and rear (10) feet, the latter folding (13) upwards for storage. A seat (2) fits on the frame sides (7), sliding on bearings, and a foot rest (3) is fitted at the front. An arm each side, is a rectangular section tube (4) with one end pivoting in a bracket (24) on the frame. It can be locked in position, or swung inwards for storage. A screwed dnob (18) tightens a J bolt against a semicircular length of bar (17). The free end of each arm has another pivot (6), this retaining the rowing handles (5). These are provided with braking devices, adjustable for effort required.
