Abstract

The adjustable trolley with several shelves is mounted on casters (10) and comprises two inverted U-shaped tubular members (1), on the arms of which are welded angle-irons (6) to make runners. The spacing between the side structures can be adjusted to adapt the trolley for whatever size receptacle it has to carry. The adjustment is made by means of two hollow rectangular section cross-pieces (2, 2') which are hinged together. The ends of the cross-pieces are welded onto a split sleeve (4) which connects freely with the upright. Once the required width has been determined, the sleeve is locked onto the upright. The cross-piece can be lifted completely, so that the trolley occupies a minimum amount of space and can be stored either vertically or horizontally.
