Abstract

A child's push chair which folds up into a compact elongated shape can also be placed on a seat in a vehicle, so as to form a seat for the child. The lower part consists of two A shaped frames, the wheels being attached to the bottoms of the sloping legs, and a handle (4, 5, 6) being at the top, forming an extension of the front leg. A sheet (10) of flexible material, slung between the frames, forms the seat. Between the bottom of the two frames is attached a foot rest (41) and higher up is a handle (13) which projects forwards, to be gripped by the child. The top part of the handle is a tube (5) which slides inside the outer tube (4) lower down, for length adjustment. This carries a pair of crook shaped handles (6) which can hook over the back (8) of the vehicle seat when required, and when the wheels (20) have been folded upwards and inwards, so that the frame is supported on cross pads (40) resting on the vehicle seat.
