Abstract

A can for beverages (1) with a pull-off strip for opening an extraction aperture (8), especially in the lid (4), with a plastic extraction spout (6) for extraction of the beverage in a hygienic manner and to protect the beverage and its can (1) when the aperture (8) is opened. The spout (6) is, in the unopened state, located inside the can and when the aperture (8) is opened it passes through the latter and projects on the outside. The extraction spout (6) is preferably designed as one piece together with a supporting disc (7) and flanged together with the lid (4). The extraction spout (6) can be closed off with additionally applied closing pieces as desired. In addition, provision is made for a closing piece (20), which can be inserted in the extraction aperture (8) and closes the can after the extraction spout (6) has been pushed inside the can.
