Abstract

The invention concerns a modular sexual assistance apparatus comprising a secure structure (A) capable of carrying a user. Said secure structure (A) comprises a carriage (12) arranged on a linear guide and mounted on a base (8). The linear guide comprises a safety device. According to the invention, the safety device is suitable for controlling a linear path of the carriage (12). The linear guide comprises a control system operating via an elastic cable (30). It comprises a stopper ball (33) and is suitable for passing through both a locking catch (32) rigidly connected to the base (8) and a ring (31) rigidly connected to the carriage (12). A tensioned state of the elastic cable (30) is defined both by a movement of the stopper ball (33) along the base (8) and by a clamped state of the elastic cable (30) in the locking catch (32).

Description

 Modular sexual assistance device

The invention relates to a modular sexual assistance device, easily installable on the ground or on a bed, comprising one or two secure structures able to carry one or two users in motion and comprising a multifunction device monodirectional or bidirectional to support various accessories and to modulate the architecture of the whole.

Such a device can be used for sexual intercourse or alone, for a recreational purpose or medical rehabilitation without having to hold a vaginal sex toy or vaginal dilator, or solicit a third party. Sexual assistance devices of the type indicated above and intended for persons who are valid or disabled, are described in the following patent documents. In these sexual assistance devices, known to carry the user, functionality and modularity are not combined to offer a wide range of use regardless of the orientations and sexual practices of users alone or in pairs.

 The volumetry and bulk of some of these devices are very important and binding for everyday and domestic use. Others are foldable and are not bulky for use and storage. However, the security of access and use does not seem to be successful for people with disabilities.

US7524283B1 discloses a machine consisting of a fixed base and a movable platform (on which a user takes place) reciprocating with an eccentric system driven by a motor. A phallic sextoy is secured to said fixed base for sexual assistance for a single person. This machine also allows a couple of partners to have sex, a first partner standing and a second partner lying on the mobile platform. The latter is adapted to a disabled user. The traveling frequency of the mobile platform supporting the handicapped user is 10 to 200 cycles per minute, which is difficult to imagine in the high range (for example, at most 100 cycles per minute). The utility of this machine is limited to phallic sex toys for a single user or in pairs (with a standing partner). Accessibility for people with disabilities seems random especially in the example of sexual application table. Indeed, the machine according to US7524283B1 does not take into consideration a concept of transfer of a wheelchair on the sex table and its safety aspect, nor the degree of disability.

US2003 / 01 1 1876A1 describes a swinging bench that can carry a user who, under the action of arms, legs or other mobile part of his body, oscillates a mobile support. This device has two coplanar platforms: the first platform is immobile because of the support (to support a seated man) and the second platform is mobile: it is adapted to a woman lying so that both partners is one in front of each other. The second mobile platform moves linearly under the manual driving action of the seated man. This device is only intended for sexual intercourse and does not have a device to add accessories such as sex toys. US2008 / 0271241 A1 describes a pendulum chair on which a person sits. She can use her hands and arms to reciprocate the seat of the chair to have sex with a partner on a folding bed facing the chair. This chair and bed are foldable, light and compact. This pendulum chair is only intended for sexual intercourse and does not have a device to add accessories such as sex toys. Other assistive devices are described in US6199552B1, BE1018234A6, JPH08224274A.

More specifically, according to a first of its aspects, the invention relates to a modular sexual assistance device adapted to be installed on the ground or on a bed and comprising a first secure structure adapted to carry at least a first user in motion. Said first secure structure comprises a mobile carriage disposed on a linear guide and mounted on a first base. Linear guidance includes a safety device. Such a modular sexual assistance apparatus is illustrated in the figure

1 and is described in US2006 / 0004251 A1. It is adapted to be installed on the ground or on a bed and comprises in particular a first secure structure 300 able to carry at least a first user in motion. Said first secure structure 300 comprises a mobile carriage 306 disposed on a linear guide 302 and mounted on a first base 304. The linear guide 302 comprises a safety device. The latter comprises a plurality of guide wheels 310 and resilient return members 316.

The sexual assistance apparatus according to US2006 / 0004251 A1 has a disadvantage: its linear guide 302 and, in particular, its safety device 310, 316, is insufficient to meet the specific needs of users with disabilities in controlling a Linear stroke of the moving carriage 306.

As such, it is recalled that these people with disabilities often have no sensation below the pool. Similarly, they may not control their gestures finely. However, the latter is transmitted to the linear guidance which, in turn, determines, inter alia, a force and / or an amplitude with which a sextoy (for example, of the type "sextoy phallic" or "sextoy orifice") linked to the Sexual Assist Device acts on / in a body of the disabled user. However, in the absence of sensations below the pelvis, this disabled user of the apparatus sexual assistance is deprived of a reliable physiological feedback signal (for example, in the form of perceptible pain). As a result, it is impossible for him to adjust his gesture in time (necessarily imperfect because it is difficult to control, as explained above) to limit a displacement of the linear guide and, ultimately, the force and / or the amplitude with which said sextoy acts on / in his body. This complex dynamic reality (due, at the same time, to the uncertain gestures and the absence of the reliable return signal) specific to the handicapped users of the sexual assistance apparatus, imposes particular constraints on the linear guidance to avoid complications like :

• Vaginal or anal lesions during a sudden or excessive intrusion of a phallic sex toy;

• fracture of the penis during a shock related to a failed penetration of a sextoy orifice. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the elastic return members 316 are provided with open hooks that can easily unhook (either from the first base 304 or from the mobile carriage 306), in a hazardous manner, at any time, in particular because of the gesture uncertain and / or poorly controlled (in the absence of said return signal) of the disabled user. This can cause either one of the serious complications mentioned above, or a derailment of the first structure 300 following an output of the guide wheels 310 out of the linear guide 302. Such a derailment can cause a fall of the disabled user which is unsatisfactory.

The present invention, which is based on this original observation, is primarily intended to provide a modular sexual assistance apparatus for at least reducing a previously mentioned limitation. To this end, the modular sexual assistance apparatus, which is also in accordance with the generic definition above, is characterized in that:

With this arrangement, the linear guidance has an architecture that guarantees a disabled user an increased level of security and reliability. Indeed, the servo system of the carriage by the first elastic tension cable allows to control and limit a stroke of the movable carriage (thanks to a selective stiffness of said first elastic cable adapted for this purpose). In addition, the first elastic cable can not unhook easily and / or randomly because its passage is secure:

• with the stop ball at the jamming cleat secured to the first base, and

• with the first ring secured to the carriage.

Finally, the first stretched state of the first elastic cable has a double adjustment (by pulling it by the stop ball and tightening it in the cleat). This allows the disabled user to precisely set a desired stroke of the mobile cart so that this race is not disturbed by poorly controlled gestures. For example, it is thus possible to precisely limit an amplitude of the stroke of the movable carriage to a few centimeters only so that a disabled man can penetrate the sextoy orifice with the penis of his penis. This broadens the functional possibilities of the modular sexual assistance apparatus according to the invention and, in particular, makes it suitable for medical rehabilitation related to sexual pathologies in persons with disabilities. Preferably, the safety device comprises at least one of the following modules: (a) adjustable handrail bar adapted to serve as a support for the first user; (b) adjustable backrest having an adjustable neck brace adapted to support the body of the first user; (c) an adjustable lateral safety barrier adapted to stabilize a positioning of the first user on the movable carriage; (d) removable lateral safety barrier adapted to facilitate access to the first user; (e) adjustable leg brace adapted to support the leg of the first user; (f) hand support block adapted to support the hand of the first user; (g) belt adapted to strap the first user in motion on the movable carriage.

This arrangement widens the functional possibilities of the modular sexual assistance apparatus according to the invention and, in particular, makes it ergonomically adapted (in particular in terms of adjustment), whatever the position (sitting, elongated, kneeling) advocated by the doctor during medical rehabilitation related to sexual diseases in persons with disabilities.

Advantageously, the first base can be supported by sleepers.

This arrangement makes the sexual assistance apparatus adaptable according to the invention, both more stable and compact. This expands its possibilities functional by making said apparatus easy to handle and / or to carry by the disabled user (the weight of the apparatus being limited, preferably, to 8 kg). Similarly, these sleepers (which can be removable to facilitate the transport of said apparatus) allow to stabilize the first base on a mattress of a bed for increased fall protection of the disabled user.

Preferably, the safety device comprises an adjustable handrail bar adapted to serve as a support for the first user. Under these conditions, the modular sexual assistance device comprises a video tablet positioned on the adjustable handrail bar using a first support.

This broadens the functional possibilities of the apparatus according to the invention.  Preferably, the modular sexual assistance apparatus according to the invention comprises a second secure structure capable of carrying at least a second user in motion. The second secure structure is identical to the first secure structure, the first and second structures being adjustably coupled to each other, and being adapted to allow the first and second users to have sexual relations while being sitting, facing each other.

This arrangement enlarges the functional possibilities of the apparatus according to the invention. In particular, this makes it possible to ensure non-discrimination of the first disabled user with respect to the second valid user. In addition, this architecture reflects an evolving spirit of the modular sexual assistance apparatus according to the invention designed for medical rehabilitation related to sexual diseases in persons with disabilities to allow the patient to use it later in his daily life. This reinforces a beneficial psychological impact of said medical reeducation. Preferably, the modular sexual assistance apparatus according to the invention comprises a base operably linked to the first base and carrying a second support having an adjustable mechanical interface adapted to secure a sextoy. According to a second of its aspects, the invention relates to a use of the modulable sexual assistance device described above for medical rehabilitation related to sexual pathologies in persons with disabilities. FIG. 6 schematically represents a perspective view of a fourth variant of the modular sexual assistance apparatus according to the invention comprising two coupled structures, one of them being equipped with an adjustable backrest comprising an adjustable neck brace, and the other of them being personalized using a support carrying two sextoys.

The state of the art known in FIG. 1 has already been discussed above: its description is therefore not repeated here. As previously announced and illustrated in Figures 2 to 6, the invention relates, according to a first of its aspects, a modular sexual assistance device adapted to be installed on the floor or on a bed and comprising a first structure A secured apt to carry at least one first user in motion. Said first secure structure A comprises a mobile carriage 12 arranged on a linear guide and mounted on a first base 8. The linear guide comprises a safety device.

According to the invention, the safety device is adapted to control a linear stroke of the mobile carriage 12. Figure 2 shows in detail a first structure A of the apparatus according to the invention, in section, with a half-running carriage 12 movable mounted on the linear guide. The latter is secured by a stop device and equipped with a servo system by a first elastic cable 30, according to the invention. The linear guide is preferably constituted by four diabolic rollers, bolted on the mobile carriage 12, for the half-train, 14 and 15, which roll on a rail 13. A linear stroke of the mobile carriage 12 is secured by a second cable 19 connected to a front stop 16. The latter is secured to the first base 8. The second cable 19 is also connected to a second rear ring 17 integral with the carriage 12 mobile. The linear stroke of the mobile carriage 12 is defined by a contact of its stopper 18 with the front stop 16 and the second cable 19 stretched.

All the components of the invention are defined for the sake of optimizing ease of use, security, customization and modularity in order to achieve an economical, robust, lightweight, compact application for ease of use and storage and cost control to meet market needs.

Another main object is the position of the base on the front of each of the structures for obvious reasons of ergonomics.

Devices for a better safety and / or comfort related to ergonomics for use by disabled persons, according to their degree of disability, can be installed on the structure of the device (hand support blocks, adjustable handrails, two lateral safety gates, adjustable backrest with a neck brace, two leg orthoses).

With this arrangement, a user or a pair of users moving with a carriage on a linear guide, in a horizontal position, sitting or kneeling, can have a wide range of ergonomic uses regardless of their orientations and their sexual practices .

The travel of the mobile cart is secured by two stops. The movement of the user on the device is ensured by its motive force, and / or by a third person, and / or by an electromotive device with a regulation, and / or by any linear servo system.

Adjustable sexual assistance device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises a second secure structure adapted to carry at least a second user in motion, the second secure structure being identical to the first structure (A) secured, the first and second structures being adjustably coupled to each other, and being adapted to allow the first and second users to have sex while sitting, one in facing each other. 7. Adjustable sexual assistance device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it comprises a base (1) linked adjustably to the first base (8) and carrying a second support (2) having a mechanical interface (3), (4), (5), (6) adjustable adapted to secure a sextoy. Modular sexual assistance device according to claim 7, characterized in that the mechanical interface (3) is articulated and is connected to the second support (2) in an indexed and adjustable position. Modular sexual assistance apparatus according to claim 7, characterized in that the mechanical interface (4) is double and is connected to the second support (2) in an indexed and adjustable position. 10.
