Claims (9)

  1. A support cushion for supporting a paralyzed forearm, including the elbow and hand, on a treatment table or an armrest of a wheelchair, characterized in that an inner side (1a) facing the body is concavely formed and an outer side (1b) facing away from the body is convexly formed and the upper side (2) has a center seam (4) forming a recess (3), said recess (3) being delimited by lateral bulges (5a, 5b) and the cushion being disposable on a firm surface (13) of the treatment table or mounted table of the wheelchair.
  2. The support cushion according to Claim 1, characterized in that the central seam (4) is bent towards the inner side (1a).
  3. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    the dimensions of the cushion - length, width, height - are adjusted to the forearm, including the elbow and hand, of the user.
  4. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    the cushion has a narrower back side (6b) which differs from the remaining cushion breadth on the part of the upper side (2) accommodating the elbow of the user and/or a wider front side (6a) which differs from the remaining cushion breadth on the part of the upper side (2) accommodating the front forearm of the user.
  5. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    the cushion is formed as an inner cushion with a separate cover (7), wherein the central seam (4) is disposed on the inner cushion and/or the support cushion without a cover (7).
  6. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    at least one fastening element (9a) is disposed on the cushion which is connected to the inner cushion and/or the cover (7) at the back side (6b) and/or at the edge of the outer side (1b).
  7. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    at least two fastening elements (9b) are disposed on the cushion which are respectively secured to the inner cushion and/or the cover (7) at the edges (8) of the inner and outer sides (1a, 1b) of the front side (6a) of the cushion.
  8. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    at least one fastening element (9a, 9b) is configured as a band with or without a Velcro-fastener (11) and/or the band consists of fabric.
  9. The support cushion according to either one of the preceding claims, characterized in that
    the material of the outer side (1a) of the inner cushion and/or the cover (7) are made of cotton and/or cotton molleton and/or sewn with PE yarn and/or neatened breathably and/or at the edges (8), and in that the material of the cushion filling (12) consists of polystyrene microbeads and/or spelt husks and/or polyester flakes.
